Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Marked: MILSCO 1944 – Excellent Condition. Both sections of the sling are marked MILSCO 1944. This sling has the correct WWII Steel hooks. The sling is used, it is in Excellent Condition. I doubt that this sling has every seen any actual usage. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. No cracks or wrinkling of the leather The leather still has the rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. You will have a hard time finding one in better condition. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
