They are generally approximately 4.5′ long X 2.5′ wide at the widest part and over 5′ in length in the narrow section up towards the shoulder. The surface has a little wax and is not heavily finished to allow for a feel that is friendly to the hand and the oil content gives them a slight two-tone “pull-up” when you bend the leather. This is a high quality leather imported from India, but if you are not satisfied with the quality you have 30 days upon receipt to return the leather. Very nice German late war WWII leather sling for Mauser K98 and other German firearms , G43′s. Leather is nice and strong – shows some expected ware. I could not find any markings on this sling. Correct ricasso pattern and stitching in nice shape. Can be safely mounted on your K98. Leather is very playable. Check my other auctions.
