Originally I thought this was a sling for a K98k rifle but was told that its actually for a post war Austrian STG-58. It measures about 55 1/2 long and almost 1 wide. 2 holes instead of the 3 on the Mauser. No checkered pattern in the leather. See pics as part of the description. Ask any questions you may have. Will add this metal stud fastener that was on another sling that I got at the same time as this one. Up for sale is this nice vintage Austrian made Pinfire Cap Rifle with Bayonet and original leather sling. It is a tiny miniature toy rifle measuring 5 inches long. It has a wood stock.
