This was taken off a Remington 700. As shown it is 32 inches long. Measuring the leather end to end, which includes the part that wraps around the underside, it is approximately 43 inches long. It comes with common mounting hardware as shown and both units are very clean with very good bluing. The leather is strong, soft, pliable and clean. The padded strap section is very nice looking and well padded. The leather has very minor wear and overall, it doesn’t look like it was used much. For sale here is a great looking WW2 German Brown Leather K98 Rifle Sling. The sling is in good condition, but does show some age, drying, and patina. The leather is supple and strong, but does show some drying. The metal fittings are brass and show heavy green age. The brass pull stop is marked with a stylized maker mark. The side of the leather is marked with what appears to be a circular maker mark followed by a string of numbers that are mostly illegible. This is a great looking sling. Nice and smooth surface. Very few tiny hairline cracks. One small surface crack on the second set of holes on the non frog end. All stitching is very strong. Steel hardware in great condition and securely attached. Very little surface wear. You will be very pleased!
