Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR, M1917 Enfiled or M1 Garand Rifle – Unmarked – NICE Condition. Ther are no visible markings on the sling. This sling has the correct WWII Blackened Steel Hooks. Some pitting on one of the hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is supple and flexible. There are several areas of wrinkling of the leather, no deep cracking or tears. Please see photo’s. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use.
