This is the 3rd pattern sling with the narrow hooks and round holes. This is an early 3rd Pattern one piece leather sling, not one of the more common ones made from two salvaged civil war slings sewn together. There are some surface cracks in the sling and some wrinkling. It has the brass stud. These slings are getting very difficult to find. Check out my other items.
