I used suede for the inside of the strap for non-slippage and finished leather for weather resistance on the outside. All the leather has been left intentionally soft for comfort. I know that there are divided opinions on this aspect but you really just have to try a’soft’ one to be converted! It’s like the’lazy boy’ of slings! The beaded strip was beaded no machine made import junk! By myself back when my eyes were better. The beaded strip measures 7 and has been stitched, glued and gusseted onto the exterior of the strap. The beading pattern is of my own design and I call it’Crow Transitional’ because it is a mixture of Crow/ Blackfoot styles leaning more heavily on the Crow Style. The total length of the fully adjustable strap is 40″ or 3′ 4″. The width of the strap is 1 6/8. The cordage used in stitching is artificial sinew. The retaining straps are latigo leather and extremely thick and long lasting.
