This item was made in the U. And is advertised to be compatible with all Henry rifles; it features an adjustable design to fit any body size. This sling is approximately 44 3/4″ long; 3″ inches wide at its widest and tapers to 1, which suggests the item would accommodate most sling swivels. The Henry name and the figure of a rifleman is embossed on the sling and a DeSantis identifying tag is attached along with the original merchandise tag with the HSL001 identification. This rifle sling is new; it is in its original packaging, which we did open for photo purposes. Vintage Original Martini Henry Leather Rifle Sling. This sling was likely imported from Nepal in 2003 by IMA. This sling was likely made between 1890 and 1910 and is 44 in length. You just need a leather lace to tie the sling together after you pull the sling through the holes at the end of the sling. Expect scuffs, creases, imperfections, and some stiffness in a few spots. They are over 100 years old at this point. The slings are suitable for display on the rifle and are strong, but they are of course very old.
