Real wood Mauser Kar 98K (WWII German Sniper Rifle). The wood was stained to make it appear more realistic (originally the wood had a redish stain so I stripped that and restained it myself). The leather sling that comes with the rifle is an authentic real leather sling that was used on the actual Kar 98K rifles. I used the rifle almost exclusively as a decorative piece so it does not have very much wear to it. The orange safety tip is easily removable so that it can be displayed without it. Warning: Don’t forget, if you ever take or use this rifle in public the orange tip will HAVE to be attached to the barrel so that it is not mistaken for a real gun. The rifle comes with 6 rounds that are metal with an empty spot at the end to place an airsoft BB inside. The rifle still functions however it is recommended to be used as a nice display piece.
