Very good WWII German Rifle sling for the K98 Rifle, Made by L&F and marked on buckle, no gouges or tears in the leather just showing surface wear, age patina, with use. This example is a’Z-Stitch’ sling which were produced during the war. 1950′s Soviet and German reparation leather slings with straight stitching can be found occasionally as well. Sling is in excellent NOS condition with visible ink stamps. Leather is supple, strong, and flexible. This was clearly stored in proper conditions so as not to be dried out or damaged in a myriad of other ways over the past 80 years.
