Pre-WWI British Army Leather Sling for the Lee-Metford or SMLE Lee-Enfield Rifle – Dated 1910 – Original – RARE. The leather is soft and supple. Some wrinkling on the surface of the leather, no cracking or crazing of the leather. The sling is approximately 46 in overall length. It is marked: C. Bussey & Geld, 1910. The case is used, please see photo’s for condition. These are RARE and not often encountered. This is the Leather Rifle Sling that was commonly used on the Lee-Metford, P14 Enfield and all of the British SMLE Lee-Enfield Rifles during WWI. Check out my other items.
