This is an original WW2 era leather K98 Rifle Sling. The sling is about 47 inches long and in great shape. There are no serious issues with the leather and it is completely in tact. The leather is old and shows normal signs of aging including soft leather and a few minor cracks/wrinkles on the exterior leather. The stitching is all original. The strap has no maker markings or date stamps that I can see. Legacy Item Number: 052716-4. This is an original WW2 era M1 Garand Rifle leather strap. The strap has excellent leather and original brass fixtures. The brass is slightly aged, but in great shape as well. The strap is original and fully functional. There is a “Rock Island Arsenal” stamp and inspector stamp G. The leather has some minor surface wrinkling, but there are no deep cracks or serious damage.
