This M1907 Military Rifle Sling is hand-made by me in a small one man shop. This sling is made from 8/10 oz. The sling claws are solid brass and attached with solid brass Chicago Screws. Color of this sling is WALNUT — this sling was dipped dyed with Professional Oil Dye, and then treated with Montana Pitch Blend Oil and then finished with a top coat of Montana Pitch Blend Paste followed with a Neutral Hand Rubbed Wax finish. All edges are hand burnished and sealed with 100% Pure Local Bees Wax. This sling is sewn with #277 Military Spec. Polyester Cord with a tensile strength of approx. The belt keepers are hand-sewn, using a saddle stich, with Bees waxed Braded Polyester cord, 1.1mm thick. This sling is approx. 50 1/2 Long Strap , Short Strap is approx. There are a total of 24 adjustment holes in the Long Strap and 16 adjustment holes in the Short Strap. Leather is a natural product, so it has a characteristic of its own… There maybe some scars or other blemishes, but this adds to the uniqueness of handmade natural products, no two, truly handmade products, are alike. With quality leather products, there is a breaking in period… Please do not force the leather to conform in the way as you can a canvas or nylon sling–if you bend or squeeze the leather tight against your swivels during the breaking in period, you will crack it and this can not be repaired. Take your time with this sling and enjoy it… Using it is the best way to break it in. If you take care of this heavy handcrafted leather sling, it will last you many years and may become a treasured heirloom for generations to come. PLEASE NOTE : Because of the Heavy Duty Brass Claw, Chicago Screws and the heavy leather used in making these slings–the Brass Claw on the short strap may need to be removed to fit through some sling swivels. The brass screws that hold the Rifle Claw on can be easily removed with a regular screw driver. Offered is a leather adjustable Western Diamondback Rifle sling. This sling is hand-made and the snake skin is hand tanned. The sling is adjustable from 34″ to 4″ with a total overall length of 46. This sling was hand crafted in the US and covered in snakeskin that was hand tanned and crafted. This is a beautiful sling that would be an attractive addition to any rifle or shotgun. Sling Sling is 3 inches wide at shoulder, slims to 1 inch. COMPLETELY Hand made out of 7oz American cow leather. Tanned and Dyed with vegetable oils and alcohols. Permeated with Neatsfoot Oil, front and back. Waxed front and back (lightly on back so as to still breathe). Adjustable from 34 to 42 inches; at both ends Sling is 3 inches wide at shoulder, slims to 1 inch. Tested this processing of leather out to 15 years, with no drying out or ill effects. Assemble is set in a side mount arrangement allowing this to be carried across chest or across back in bandoleer style. Also comes with matching lever wrap! I can add stamped initials if wanting to at no extra charge. Sling is fully adjustable (54 long) , will hold up to 13 cartridges (depending on size) of your choice or none at all if desired. Cover conforms , Fits tightly to stock as seen. Laces like a shoe. This is very comfortable and works great for carrying while on foot , horseback or atv. Must have stock sites.
