The padding in this sling is made from high-density foam to give it a lifetime of enjoyment, as well as having the comfort of a Suede back. All the stitching is done with nylon thread. The screw posts put into this sling is oxidized to prevent rusting. It easily attaches to any standard sling swivels, and is quickly adjustable from 26.5″ to 43″. Offered is a leather adjustable Prairie Rattlesnake Rifle sling. This sling is hand-made and the snake skin is hand tanned. The sling is adjustable from 34″ to 40″ with a total overall length of 44.5. This sling was hand crafted in the US and covered in snakeskin that was hand tanned and crafted. This is a beautiful sling that would be an attractive addition to any rifle or shotgun. Sling Sling is 3 inches wide at shoulder, slims to 1 inch. COMPLETELY Hand made out of 7oz American cow leather. Tanned and Dyed with vegetable oils and alcohols. Permeated with Neatsfoot Oil, front and back. Waxed front and back (lightly on back so as to still breathe). Adjustable from 34 to 40 inches; at both ends Sling is 3 inches wide at shoulder, slims to 1 inch. Tested this processing of leather out to 15 years, with no drying out or ill effects. The padded Strap has been hand made, hand tooled, stained and finished from quality 9-10 oz. Leather and fits standard 1 mounts. Natural leather will have the occasional range marks and skin grains which add great character, so each scabbard we build is slightly unique. The leather lacing are also hand cut and stained. Loops can be made for most rifle rounds. It is 3″ wide so it can easily accommodate 2.5″ rounds such as 45-70. (Pictured with 45 Long Colts). Sling can be adjusted out to 38. In addition to finishing the leather, the sling has been given a weather proofing treatment to further help protect it from snow and rain.
