WWI US G&K 1918 LEATHER M1907 SLING FOR 1903 SPRINGFIELD & 1917 ENFIELD RIFLE. GI issue M1907 Leather Sling for the 1903 Springfield and U. This sling comes from the estate of the original owner whose name can be provided to the new owner upon request. The sling remains in very good condition, way better than most of these early slings when encountered, is all intact including both of its original sewn leather keepers, and is not made up from parts. This sling was manufactured by G&K and is dated 1918. It is marked G&K 1918 between the leather keepers and also bears the stamp’R-S’ just above one of the brass’buckles’. These slings were also used post WWI and into the earlier years of WWII on the M1 Garand Rifle as well.
