The padded Strap has been hand made, hand tooled, stained and finished from quality 9-10 oz. Leather and fits standard 1 mounts. Natural leather will have the occasional range marks and skin grains which add great character, so each sling we build is slightly unique. The leather lacing are also hand cut and stained. Loops can be made for various Larger Long Action Calibers. (Pictured with 270 Winchester rounds). Sling is 3″ wide at the widest and tapers do to 1″ to use with standard sling loops. Sling is adjustable from 29″ to 40″ and also comes with an extension piece for use at the top of sling to help place cartridges where they are comfortable. Spare adjustment screws and leather tension washers are included. This was taken off a Remington 700. As shown it is 32 inches long. Measuring the leather end to end, which includes the part that wraps around the underside, it is approximately 43 inches long. It comes with common mounting hardware as shown and both units are very clean with very good bluing. The leather is strong, soft, pliable and clean. The padded strap section is very nice looking and well padded. The leather has very minor wear and overall, it doesn’t look like it was used much. For Sale: one World War 1 original military leather rifle sling. This sling is stamped W. CO dated 1918 with inspectors mark C A C. The stitching is tight, the leather is soft and flexible. The brass double hook ends were dark finished most of which has worn away while the brass ring seems to have retained a lot of the original finish. The leather loop keepers are present in good condition. I have posted photos of the fittings and stitching for your examination.
