I make hand butt stock covers and slings including the hand cut latigo style oiled lace from heavy vegetable tanned leather right here in the Black Hills of South Dakota. They are finished with an antique stain, finish and wax. I use brown Kiwi shoe polish wax so it will be easy to maintain. There are some range marks in the leather. The sling takes 1 rings. Very nice German late war WWII leather sling for Mauser K98 and other German firearms , G43′s. Leather is nice and strong – shows some expected ware. I could not find any markings on this sling.
