This is a type of Artistic work that will stand out from all of the rest, as well as enhancing the beauty of your firearm. The padding in this sling is made from high-density foam to give it a lifetime of enjoyment, as well as having the comfort. All the stitching is done with nylon thread. The screw posts put into this sling is oxidized to prevent rusting. It easily attaches to any standard sling swivels, and is quickly adjustable from 26.5″ to 43″. This is the 4th pattern sling with the wide hooks and oval holes. This is an early 4th Pattern one piece leather sling, not one of the more common ones made from two savalaged civil war slings sewn together. There are some surface cracks in the sling and some wrinkling. It has the brass stud and both leather keepers, see photo. The sling is marked: Rock Island Arsenal over H.
