Original WWI M1907 U. Army Leather Rifle Sling – Stamped G&K 1918. Made by G&K (Graton & Knight) In 1918. Brass is in good condition, without verdigris, but there is cracking in between some of the hook holes. None of the cracks extend through the sling. As such, this would be an excellent sling for display for an M1903 or M1917 as it looks great. I would not recommend this as usable sling for taking to the range or shooting an NRA Highpower match with. Please see my store for other items. Please see my other items for sale. Also comes with matching lever wrap! I can add stamped initials if wanting to at no extra charge. Sling is fully adjustable (54 long), will hold up to 13 cartridges (depending on size) of your choice or none at all if desired. Cover conforms, Fits tightly to stock as seen. Laces like a shoe. This is very comfortable and works great for carrying while on foot, horseback or atv. Must have stock sites. You will really enjoy the looks and functionality of this set up! I handcarved this leather padded rifle sling with a deer head, oak leaves and acorns on. The deer is hand painted, hand dyed, antiqued, and a finish on. This rifle sling is genuine cowhide. Here in Minnesota it’s one of my best sellers, it is hand stitched with brown thread for leather. There is padding in the backside of the design, and I hand stitched the suede leather over the padding for more comfort for shoulders. There’s a leather loop, and three metal black oxide screw posts. Any hunter will love this sling. About 2 -3/8″ widest part, 1-1/4″ strap. Length adjustable from about 29″ to about 33″ long measuring from end of leather to other end, swivels add a bit more length. It comes with pair of 1-1/4 sling swivel/gun clips which are attached. The picture shows the clips attached.
