Very nice German WWII leather sling for Mauser K98 and other German firearms , G43′s. Leather is nice and strong – shows some expected ware. Sling is dates 1942 and stamped with maker code. It is also L&F stamped on buckle. Correct ricasso pattern and stitching in nice shape. Can be safely mounted on your K98. Leather is quite playable. Check my other auctions. This sling is in very good condition. The cross hatching is clearly visible throughout the surface. The stampings on the butt keeper are partially clear. The leather is soft and pliable with minor surface wear. The buckle works well and shows slight wear. The leather is complete around the butt keeper with minor wear. Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Marked: MILSCO 1943 – Nice Condition. The sling is faintly marked MILSCO and dated 1943. This sling has the correct WWII Steel hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling and cracks on the surface of the leather. The leather has darken with age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use.
