WWII Boyt leather sling for the the M1 Garand and 1903 rifles. Leather in reasonably good condition with some stiffness and cracking but no major issues that I could see. Original Boyt M1907 Leather Rifle Sling. Appears to have never been mounted on a rifle. No scratches or wear on the metal parts. Nice dark brown color. Leather is like new, soft and supple. Only marks are from storage. You will not find a better period sling. Very hard to find a 75-year old sling in this condition. This leather sling was apparently un-issued and should be considered as, New Old Stock. We’ve had this on display in the museum for over 20 years. Leather color is very good,’BOYT-42′ stamp is clearly seen. Vertigris is present on brass fittings.
