I figured somewhere out there there is a person named Rich that would really love to have this. Handcrafted in Michigan by the late Charles Baker. Very nicely done leather tooling. This is an older piece but is in great condition and should last a very long time with proper care. Would make a great gift for a special occasion. It looks like you can take apart 2 of the rivets if you want to change the style of mounts on it. Appears like they screw together. This was on a Winchester model 70. It adjusts in length though. SLING, RIFLE, LEATHER, TOTALLY HAND CUSTOM CRAFTED, ORIGINAL DESIGN, AND WORK. The leather used for this sling is 8 oz, leather hide. All of the work done in my little leather work shop. Design is hand carved and worked with various leahter tools. There is a nice brown antique used on the. Give a beautiful finish. The measurements are approx 52″ stap, x 1″wide. The padded piece measures 3/58″ at widest and down to 2 1/2″ at bottom. The strap is all one piece. From top down thru the design piece and to the tip. This strap is adjustable using Chicago screws. Is 1 wide, for a one inch hanger. There is a”maker’s mark on the strap slide. Just let me know the initials you desire. No chage for initials. Thank you for stopping by and viewing my work.
