This listing is for a vintage Weatherby Rifle Sling fresh from a local estate. The condition of the sling is as seen in the photos. The sling has some slight spotting around the edges as you can see. The metal swing swivels have slight surface rust that could be cleaned off easily. I’m thinking maybe the previous owner probably got out hunting with it in the rain many moons ago. The sling spent the last few years folded in the gun cabinet drawer. The leather is nice and supple. It’s a great vintage accessory for your vintage rifle. As you can see it has a Weatherby rifle and elephant graphic on it. It is model 4770. What a dandy sling – it doesn’t look like it was ever put on a rifle. Check out the graphics and beautiful condition of this sling. The sling is padded as well. I would give this a 9 out of 10, the only visible defect being the adhesive/residue from what looked to be a price tag/sticker on the front under the graphics. I didn’t attempt to clean it and I don’t know if it can be wiped clean or it is possibly faded. Nonetheless this sling is awesome and a nice collector piece.
