CUSTOM HANDMADE GENUINE LEATHER, HAND TOOLED RIFLE SLING WITH ETXTA LARGE THUMB HOLE SO YOU CAN WEAR GLOVES WITH THIS SLING. IT IS LINED WITH REAL PIG SKIN SWADE LEATHER AND HAS A HAND TOOLED PATTERN. Made in Idaho, USA. Made from quality veg-tanned leather and lined with natural pig skin suede leather. The sling loop keeper is also handmade with finished edging and riveted for extra strength. The sling is hand tooled, hand finished, and machine sewn. I have been a leathersmith for over 30 years and I don’t skimp on materials or quality. Every part of this rifle sling is finished, all edges are finished and it comes with gun metal screw posts. This is a quality product. It has multiple adjustments for proper placement at 2 inches increments. The taper design on main body is very comfortable and ranges from 3 1/4″ inches at top to 3″ inches at bottom of main body and is 20 inches in length. Both the upper and lower straps are 1 wide to accommodate gun swivels. The approximate overall length is 44 1/2 inches. This is a very comfortable sling with a large thumb hole that offers quick removal of your thumb even when wearing gloves. This thumb hole (2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches) is 2 to 3 times larger than our competitors. The pig suede leather offers perfect non slip all-weather qualities. I started making these rifle slings over 30 years ago for myself and they are still in great shape. You will be able to hand down this rifle sling to the next generation. THIS IS A CUSTOM ORDER – PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING. Rifle Shoulder Sling Strap with 10 Cartridge Loops – Winchester, Henry, Marlin, Rossi and more! The padded Strap has been hand made, hand tooled, stained and finished from quality 9-10 oz. Leather and fits standard 1 mounts. Natural leather will have the occasional range marks and skin grains which add great character, so each scabbard we build is slightly unique. The leather lacing are also hand cut and stained. Loops can be made for most rifle rounds. It is 3″ wide so it can easily accommodate 2.5″ rounds such as 45-70. (Pictured with 45 Long Colts). For tapered rounds, such as 30-30, loops will be slightly offset so the rounds remain centered on sling. (See Pictures) Sling can be adjusted out to 38 and also comes with an extension piece for use at the top of sling to help place cartridges where they are comfortable. In addition to finishing the leather, the sling has been given a weather proofing treatment to further help protect it from snow and rain. Pictured are examples of our Black and Dark Brown models.
