leather rifle sling

This is an original K98k. I’m not sure whether it’s German or Israeli, however. These slings were also used on the G41, G43, K43, Mkb42, MP43, MP44, and STG44 rifles. It is brown leather, 53 inches long (measured unfolded, entire length), one inch wide, has what appears to be a blued brass or bronze slide buckle, also the keeper/loop. Cross-hatch embossing (aka ricasso pattern). The only marking I can find is a number on the sling itself… It’s a bit stiff but is pliable and has no cracks or breaks that I can see. I believe this is a K98 or other Mauser type rifle sling. It is stamped “made in Germany” as seen in the third photo. The metal buckle has some of its finish missing.
