The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and pliable. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some minor surface cracks and wrinkling of the leather, please see photos. The leather has darkened with age. The stitching is all tight and intact, no fraying. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle.
