Up for sale is this Original WWII WW2 German K98 Mauser Rifle Leather Sling COG L&F Nice Old Vintage. This sling came from an estate sale. The sling looks like it was used a lot, and is worn down. You can see this in the photos. THE SLING IS MISSING THE SLIDING LOOP. For it’s age, this sling looks like it’s still in good shape. Original WWI Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifle – Dated 1917 – Nice Condition. Up for sale is an Original WWI Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling. The sling is marked: Lawrence 1917 S. This sling has the correct WWI Blackened Brass hooks. Still retains some of the original blackening on the brass hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and pliable. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some minor surface cracks and wrinkling of the leather, please see photos. The lower section of the sling has a repair, see photo. The leather has darkened due to age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWI era Sling and would look great on a WWI era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display.
