Made from quality veg-tanned leather, lined with natural sheep’s wool tanned hide. The sling loop keeper is also handmade and basket weaved hand tooled with finished edges. The sling is hand tooled, hand finished, and machine sewn. I have been a leathersmith for over 30 years and I don’t skimp on materials or quality. Every part of this rifle sling is finished, all edges are finished and it comes with gun metal screw posts. This is a quality product. It has two adjustments at top for proper shoulder placement and multipole adjustments on lower part for desired length in 2 inches increments. Taper design on main body from 2 3/4″ to 1 7/8″. Sling upper and lower straps are 1 wide. This is a very comfortable sling and the wool is a great all-weather pad. I started making these sheep padded rifle slings over 30 years ago and have used them myself for over 30 years. You will be able to hand down this rifle sling to the next generation.
