Original WWI and WWII U. M1907 leather sling for the M1 Garand, 1903 /1903a3, and Combat Shotguns. Sling is all intact including both of its sewn keepers, remains stored and pliable, and presents nicely. This sling has brass hooks which is the WWI-Pre wwII variety of this sling. I recently took this odd a nice WWI 1903 Springfield and it will go back on another easily without any adjustment. Not marked that I can see but is guaranteed to be genuine. Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Marked: MILSCO 1943 – Nice Condition. The sling is faintly marked MILSCO and dated 1943. This sling has the correct WWII Steel hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling and cracks on the surface of the leather. The leather has darken with age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items. Nice WW2 US M1907? Rifle Leather Sling SPRINGFIELD M1 Garand. Picked this sling up at a Local Gun Collectors Estate recently. The sling is in Very Nice Condition with no tears. Leather is still nice and soft. The sling shows genuine age for a period piece although I have no first hand information from the previous owner.
