I removed this sling from a Springfield Trapdoor rifle made in the 1880′s. Sure looks to be that vintage. This would be ideal for a vintage Springfield rifle. The leather is in good shape. It shows some dry cracking but is sturdy. Overall, a nice sling and is made with good quality. Parts Questions and Requests. This would include fitment, period correct installation, additional pictures, etc. I would love to help you in any which way I can! Please be certain that all vintage parts are installed correctly and safely. We recommend a visual inspection and installation by a qualified gunsmith to assure utmost safety. I always strive to be fair and honest in my auctions! The item “Vintage Leather Sling 1880′s for Springfield Trapdoor Rifle Early Indian Wars” is in sale since Saturday, June 30, 2018.
