Their degree of wear and age seems to range from early 1900′s antique to late 1900′s vintage. All are seemingly still functional with no rips, tears, or missing pieces. This is the perfect opportunity to get a bundle of obscure, well-preserved, antique slings at a great price. The slings in this lot are as follows. 1ea Single-Point Textured Shoulder Sling. 1ea Small T-Notch Buckled Sling. 1ea Sling Swivel Stud Sling with Arm Loop. 1ea Double Loop Bridle Leather Sling Condition: Each piece is in great condition. For sale here is a great looking WW2 German Brown Leather K98 Rifle Sling. The sling is in good condition, but does show some age and patina. The leather is supple and strong, but does show some very minor stiffening. There are two buckles, and they both appear to be unmarked. The keeper appears to be an addition and is riveted on. The leather shows some surface cracking, and does not appear to be checkered. This is a great looking sling. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR, M1917 Enfiled or M1 Garand Rifle – Unmarked – Very Nice Condition. This sling has the correct WWII Blackened Steel Hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. There are several areas of wrinkling on the surface of the leather. Some surface cracking between the adjustment holes, as is common on these older slings. Please see photo’s. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact.
