leather rifle sling

I have many many more slings, belts, holsters, military WWII, WWI, Vietnam war, etc listed. Here is a vintage leather rifle sling. I could not find any markings on this. 1 1/4 wide and worn, but still strong. This has STEEL hooks, and not the more commonly seen brass. I think this is for the M1 Garand or Springfield rifle. IF THIS IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I’M NOT TRYING TO SCREW ANYONE. I’M JUST CALLING THESE AS I SEE THEM. I’M NOT A RIFLE SLING EXPERT. Please see pics for more details. WWII US Army M1 Garand 1 1/4 Leather Rifle Sling. Used, worn, supple, strong, some surface cracks, some green age still around the brass hardware… We can’t find the stampings… Little doubt as to what this is, just unmarked… Please see the 23 photos showing every part of the sling.

Very good WWII German Rifle sling for the K98 Rifle, Made by L&F and marked on buckle, no gouges or tears in the leather just showing surface wear, age patina, with use. This is a very. The leather is very strong, soft and pliable. It will hold the weight of a rifle just fine. It has strong stitching. The surface is very smooth. A small edge piece missing. It comes with 2 very nice keepers. Are intact and strong. Strong and well attached. See my other sling auctions of this type.
