Original WWI Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Marked G&K 1918 – Very Nice Condition. The sling is marked: G&K and dated 1918. This sling has the correct WWI Blackened Metal hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keeper. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling and cracking on the surface of the leather. The leather has darken with age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWI era Sling and would look great on a WWI era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. Covers nearly all the stock leaving hand area free. 10 sturdy shell holders are set in a angle for maximum area use allowing 5- 410′s up front and 5-45LC’s in rear or what ever combo you desire. Decorative lace and lanyard added both in cover and sling which is 12 oz leather of same. It might look complicated to install but isnt! Just lace on the bottom from front to back like a shoe. This cover is functional, comfortable, protective and pretty darn neat looking! Gun , shells and Quick tach swivels not included! Note: please see my feedback.
