Rifle Sling Tooled in American. This is a Handmade – Remington Leather Western Rifle Sling Tooled in American by me. All my rifle slings are a one of a kind unique design. This is my latest batch of five custom Rifle Slings This design features two large wolf head stamps and the word “REMINGTON” with a rope pattern stamped around the word “REMINGTON”. The color is a reddish brown on the rifle sling. It has a one of a kind custom designed. The Rifle slings are designed by me. The Rifle Sling is about 38 inches long by 2 inches wide. This Rifle Sling is constructed from 6 to 7 oz leather. I bevel (round off) all the edges on these slings. These rifle slings are about one and 1/8 wide where they are mounted to the rifle swivels, so either one inch or one and 1/4 swivels shoul wok. I only design and make. S being the same. Handcrafted rifle sling, made by Seelye Leather Works. Hand tooled, made from veg-tanned cow (embossed Alligator) and backed with American Bison. The sling is padded, adjustable, and has brass chicago screw fasteners. The sling starting length is 30 1/2″ long and adjust out to 33″ long. The sling also has a brass concho accent. All of SLW items are handcrafted, each item is unique. SLW uses only the finest natural leather, and the natural surface of leather has its own characteristics. The proof of its uniqueness is the markings that occur during the life of the animal. Leather used to create the products of SLW will include scratches, scars, brands, insect bites, indentations and scuffs. Original WWI Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR or M1917 Enfiled – Nice Condition. Ther are no visible markings or dates on the sling. This sling has the correct WWI Blackened Brass hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. There is some minor wrinkling and cracking on the surface of the leather. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich dark brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. A few extra holes punched in the sling. This is an Original Functional WWI era Sling and would look great on a WWI era rifle. There is a unit marking stamped into the sling, see photo. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
