The sturdy M-1907 leather rifle sling of WW1 proved so successful that it was again procured during WW2 to carry both the Springfield and the Garand. This US Army USMC Marine WW2 SPRINGFIELD GARAND MILSCO M-1907 LEATHER RIFLE SLING is in very good condition, with some fairly deep partial cracks around some of the lower adjustment holes, and with some scattered darkening and age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the sling is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough brown leather construction. Most interestingly, it boasts the classic metal sizing “claws”, features both of the original brown leather adjusting slides, and is twice lightly stamped at the upper front with its maker and date, “MILSCO / 1943″.
