Original HICKOK WWII Era US Army M1907 Leather Sling. This hard to find sling is for the M1903 Springfield , 1917 Enfield or M1 Garand Rifle. On the rough side. This sling has the steel metal hooks. It has been used, so please see the photos for a better assessment of its condition. The leather is soft and supple. There is some wrinkling and surface wear on the leather. The leather has darkend with age. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an original functional WWII era sling and would look great on an appropriate WWII era rifle, or in a serious sling collection. NOTE : this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. As such, I would NOT recommened it for actual field use. This type of sling was commonly used on US historic battle rifles.
