Hand made leather rifle sling, rifle sling, gun sling, carved rifle sling, USA. This rifle sling is genuine veg tanned tooling cowhide. Here in Minnesota it’s one of my best sellers, it’s hand carved, dyed, antiqued, and hand stitched. There is padding in the backside of the design, and I hand stitched the soft strong cowhide leather over the padding for more comfort for shoulders. The main color of sling is medium brown. There’s a leather loop, and three metal screw posts. Any hunter will love this sling. It also comes with two clips that are 1-1/4 that i have attached to sling. The clips are Allen, Magnum swivel clips. Strap is about 2-3/8 widest part, 1-1/8 strap. Length adjustable from about 28-1/2″ to 32-1/2″ long. Many hours making this.. This is a beautiful braided leather rifle sling. It uses 7/8 inch swivels and measures 40 inches as pictured. Narrow swivels are common on European rifles and shotguns. Also on the FWB 124D Airgun. American swivels are 1 inch. The European swivels on some vintage guns measure closer to 7/8 (I’m sure its a metric measurement). Finding slings to fit these narrow swivels can be extremely difficult to find, so this sling is somewhat rare. It is stamped Made In Germany. Braided slings are someehat difficult to find. I used to collect European hunting rifles and I always thought that braided slings looked traditional and particularly handsome on them. It is in very good condition. The leather is soft and pliable.
