Original WWI Era U. M1907 Leather Rifle Sling, Marked G. Original WWI US M1907 Sling Dated 1918. The sling has a tear at the bottom with a very poorly done repair job just enough to hold it together. The sling still displays great with the tear being on the under side, I wouldnt recommend using the sling but having it on a rifle for display your good to go. I included some photos of the sling on a rifle to show how good it looks when installed. The tear could also be repaired a lot better then it is now if you knew what you were doing. The sling is in decent condition for its age overall minus the one tear, and is a great original sling to add to your display. (RIFLE IS NOT INCLUDED). The item “Original WWI Era U. S. This sling has some damage with two nicks to the side of the sling, cracking and staining. The metal buckle is marked L&F that shows some rust to the metal parts. Can not find any other markings. This sling is better served as a display sling. The nicks in the sides are both on the side that does not show when drawn tight to the rifle.
