One original US issue brown leather sling with brass fittings, couldnt find any markings, traces but nothing legible, I took this one off a Krag that I stripped, but it will work for the US model of 1917 rifle, springfield 1903, 1903A3,1903 Mk. 1, or the M-1 garand. There are no visible markings or dates. This sling has the correct Brass hook. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some minor surface cracks and wrinkling of the sling, please see photos. The leather has darkened due to age. The stitching is all tight and intact. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use.
