ORIGINAL WWI US M1907 LEATHER RIFLE SLING FOR 1903 RIFLE MFG. MK’d & DATED 1918
Original WWI & WWII U. GI issue M1907 leather rifle sling. This sling was intended to be used on the Springfield 1903, 1917 Enfield, and U. S Trench Combat shotguns. The sling is all intact with blackened brass hooks and both of its sewn leather keepers. Sling remains in very solid condition and stands on its own. Museum wax added to preserve its condition (turns a little white but buffs nicely). These WWI dated slings were also used during WWII on the M1 Garand Rifle.
